Welcome to Taurus season—a time to exhale, slow down, and fully savor life’s simpler (and softer) pleasures. It’s the perfect excuse to stay in on a Friday night with your favorite mug, a blanket, and a candle that cost way too much… and feel no guilt about it. Oh, I absolutely love my natural unscented beeswax candles! Did I forget to mention that my sun sign is a Taurus? Whoops!

This season invites us to move from “go, go, go” into “mmm, maybe later.” It’s about grounded presence, intentional choices, and surrounding yourself with what you love—whether it’s good food, good company, or the kind of silence that feeds the soul.

What Taurus Season Encourages:

♉️ Slow Down: Let rest be productive. Not everything needs to be rushed—especially not a Taurus.

♉️ Nourish Your Senses: Surround yourself with beautiful, comforting things. Taste, touch, smell, sound—this is sensory self-care season.

♉️ Get Grounded: Spend time in nature, tend to your home, create rituals that help you feel rooted and steady.

♉️ Reclaim Your Worth: Taurus energy whispers, you are already enough. Stop proving. Start savoring.

♉️ Invest in What Lasts: Whether it’s a relationship, a ritual, or a really good pair of leggings—a Taurus wants quality over quantity, always.

A Glimpse Into the Taurus Soul

Ever loved a Taurus? You’d certainly know it. We’re the loyal ones—the ones who bring snacks, remember your favorite candle scent, and insist you take your coat because it’s definitely going to be cold later.

Taurus energy is steady, rooted, and full of heart. We’re the builders, the cultivators, the ones who take our time not because we’re slow—but because we know that lasting beauty isn’t rushed. We’re drawn to comfort, but we’re also incredibly strong. We’ll fight for what we love, protect who we care about, and ride out the storms with quiet resilience.

As a Taurus myself, I feel right at home in this season. It’s a time to slow down, sink in, and savor what’s real. We move at our own pace—thank you—and yes, we did notice you trying to rush us. Nice try. 😉

Underneath the calm is power. Underneath the softness is a cozy kind of stubbornness. We hold steady when the world spins. We crave honesty, simplicity, and deep connection.

Taurus season invites all of us to remember that presence is powerful, pleasure is a birthright, and rest is not just allowed—it’s essential.

Taurus & the Heart Chakra

The energetic center that aligns most with Taurus is the Heart Chakra (Anahata)—the space where love, compassion, trust, and serenity reside. When this chakra is in balance, we feel secure, receptive, and deeply connected—to ourselves, to others, and to the present moment.

We’re able to offer love without strings, accept it without fear, and rest in the knowledge that softness is a strength.

But when the Heart Chakra is out of balance?

We may find ourselves closing off, putting up walls, or holding grudges we forgot the origin of. There can be fear around intimacy or a sense of being disconnected—from others and from our own inner peace.

On the flip side, an overactive Heart Chakra might lead us to give so much that we forget to protect our own energy.

This season invites us to gently notice where the heart needs tending. Not to fix it, but to soften into it—with breath, with movement, and with trust.

Yoga Poses for Taurus Season & the Heart

These three yoga poses align with Taurus energy and support balance, grounding, and heart-centered awareness:

Pyramid Pose

(Parsvottanasana)

A deeply grounding forward fold that cultivates patience, stability, and humility. This pose invites us to slow down, feel our feet on the earth, and turn inward with intention.

  1. Start in a standing position and step your left foot back about 2–3 feet.

  2. Square your hips toward the front and keep both legs straight (or gently bent if needed).

  3. Inhale, reach your arms up; exhale, hinge at the hips to fold over your front leg.

  4. Place your hands on blocks or the floor and soften your neck.

  5. Breathe here for 5 deep breaths, then switch sides.

Pyramid Pose reminds us that progress isn’t always fast—and that moving slowly with awareness is still moving forward.

Cow Face Pose

(Gomukhasana)

A pose that encourages self-acceptance, surrender, and gentle heart-opening. With its layered arm and leg positioning, it invites us to embrace life’s complexities with softness and grace.

  1. Begin seated on your mat, stacking one knee over the other and drawing your feet out to the sides. (If this position feels uncomfortable, feel free to sit cross-legged in Easy Seated Pose instead.)

  2. Inhale, reach your right arm up and bend the elbow to bring the hand down your back.

  3. Reach your left arm behind you to clasp fingers (or use a strap or towel).

  4. Sit tall, breathe into the space across your chest, and soften your face.

  5. Hold for 5 breaths, then switch sides.

Cow Face Pose reflects the Taurus gift of devotion—offering deep presence and care to both self and others.

Fish Pose

(Matsyasana)

A gentle heart opener that restores energy, melts tension, and brings breath into the chest and shoulders. This pose offers a sense of openness, reminding us of the strength in vulnerability.

  1. Lie on your back and slide your hands underneath your hips for support, palms facing up or down—whichever feels more comfortable.

  2. Press your forearms and elbows into the mat as you lift your chest and gently arch your back.

  3. Lightly rest the crown of your head on the mat.

  4. Keep your legs extended and active.

  5. Hold for 5–10 breaths, focusing on expansive breathing and softening.

Supported Fish Pose

(Matsyasana Variation)

Open-hearted, restorative, and completely permission-giving.

  1. Lie back on your mat with a bolster, rolled blanket, or yoga blocks supporting your upper back—placing one under your shoulder blades and another beneath your head. Feel free to play with the height of the blocks to find the level of lift that feels just right for your body.

  2. Let your arms relax open to the sides, palms facing up.

  3. For extra grounding—or if your hips or low back feel tight—bend your knees, bring your feet slightly wider than your hips, and let your knees fall inward to rest together.

  4. Close your eyes and breathe deeply into your heart space, softening on every exhale.

  5. Rest here for 3–5 minutes, allowing your body to open and receive.

Fish Pose invites us to reconnect to the wisdom of the heart and to trust in the quiet strength within.

Taurus Season Wisdom

Taurus energy teaches us that life is not a race—it’s a garden. And you, my friend, are allowed to bloom in your own time.

You’re allowed to rest without apology.

To love without rushing.

To build slowly, beautifully, and intentionally.

Let this season remind you that stability is sacred—a foundation, not a flaw. That sensuality is spiritual, and there’s power in slowing down to savor life’s simple pleasures. You don’t have to hustle to be worthy; your value isn’t measured by how much you produce. And most of all, remember that your body, your time, and your energy are treasures—precious resources that deserve to be honored, protected, and lovingly tended.

Taurus Season Mantra:

“I have everything I need within me.”

Let yourself rest. Let yourself bloom. Let yourself receive. Taurus season has arrived—and it’s beautiful here. 🤍
