Welcome to Gemini season—a time to shake off the dust, open the windows (literally and figuratively), and let curiosity lead the way. After Taurus season helped us ground and root, Gemini invites us to rise into the breeze, ask better questions, and reconnect with the joy of learning, sharing, and play.
It’s the perfect excuse to try something new, start three books at once, and talk a little too much at brunch. (No judgment—we’re all just following the Mercury muse.)
I love this season’s sparkle—it feels like a fresh breath of air after a long exhale. A little scattered? Maybe. But also full of lightness, laughter, and possibility.
What Gemini Season Encourages:
♊️ Follow Your Curiosity: Gemini energy thrives on exploration. Let your interests lead you—whether it’s a new podcast, a local class, or a conversation with someone you’ve just met.
♊️ Connect + Converse: This is a social season. Speak your truth, share your story, and don’t be afraid to really listen to others too. Magic happens in dialogue.
♊️ Play with Duality: Gemini is the sign of the twins. It reminds us that we can be both quiet and outspoken, logical and whimsical, grounded and free.
♊️ Release the Need to “Stick to the Plan”: Let this be a season of flow. Not everything needs a perfectly mapped path. It’s okay to pivot.
♊️ Express Freely: Whether through writing, movement, voice, or art—get the inner world out and into the air.
Gemini in Motion
Gemini is the sound of pages turning quickly, the hum of conversation in a cozy café, the glint of curiosity behind bright eyes. They are wind and word and wonder—ever shifting, always searching.
Being around a Gemini is to witness a mind that dances. Ideas flicker through them like fireflies in twilight—quick, brilliant, gone before you can catch them. They don’t just talk—they weave thoughts, play with perspective, and somehow always land on something you hadn’t considered before.
But beneath the clever comebacks and animated storytelling lives a deep longing—to connect, to understand, to be understood.
Geminis hold multitudes. They are both mirror and mystery—offering a reflection one moment, revealing a new facet the next. Their brilliance lies not just in what they know, but in how they wonder. How they ask. How they listen when it matters.
They may not stay still for long, but when you meet them in their spark—when you honor the wild beauty of their ever-turning inner compass—they’ll light up a part of you you didn’t know needed warmth.
Gemini and the Throat Chakra
The energetic center most aligned with Gemini is the Throat Chakra (Vishuddha)—the seat of expression, truth, and clear communication.
When this chakra is balanced, we’re able to speak with authenticity, listen with presence, and engage in the dance of connection with clarity and grace.
When it’s out of balance, we might find ourselves overtalking, holding back, feeling misunderstood, or struggling to express what we really mean. There might be fear around saying the wrong thing—or regret for the words we didn’t say at all.
This season invites us to explore the power of words—not just the ones we speak to others, but the ones we speak to ourselves. What stories are we telling? And do they still serve us?
Yoga Poses for Gemini Season & the Throat Chakra
These yoga poses support expression, openness, and spaciousness in the neck, shoulders, and jaw—areas often tied to unspoken truths or repressed energy.
Shoulderstand
(Salamba Sarvangasana)

An inversion that stimulates the throat chakra, increases circulation to the head, and encourages introspection.
Note: Practice safely and skip if you have neck or spine issues.
Lie on your back, bring knees towards your chest.
Support your lower back with your hands and slowly lift your legs toward the ceiling.
Keeping the weight in your upper arms, bring elbows closer together so that they are parallel to one another.
Your neck should remain neutral with chin slightly away from chest.
Hold for 5–10 breaths before gently releasing.
Crow Pose
(Bakasana)

Toes on the Mat Version
This variation offers a safe, grounded way to explore the shape and sensation of Crow Pose—no flying required.
Begin in a yogi squat (Malasana) with your feet about hip-width apart and toes pointing slightly outward.
Place your hands on the mat shoulder-width apart between your knees, spreading your fingers wide and pressing through your fingertips.
Bend your elbows slightly and lift your hips.
Bring your knees to the backs of your upper arms—just above the elbows.
Keep your gaze forward (not down) to maintain balance and confidence.
Gently shift your weight into your hands while keeping your toes on the mat, engaging your core and hugging the inner thighs in.
Breathe here for 3–5 breaths, feeling your strength build from the inside out.
Taking It Deeper: Lift-Off Exploration
Ready to play a little? Gemini energy loves curiosity without attachment to the outcome.
With control, start to lift one toe off the mat—then maybe the other.
Hug everything in toward your center and breathe steadily.
If both feet leave the mat, great. If not, you’re still flying in your own way.
Stay for a few breaths or as long as you feel steady and safe, then slowly release back to a squat.
Progress isn’t linear. Playfulness is a superpower. Every attempt is part of the dance.
Humble Warrior
(Baddha Virabhadrasana)

This pose blends focus and fluidity—an anchored stance with a gentle bow. It’s the perfect embodiment of Gemini’s dual nature: strong and soft, expressive and introspective.
From Warrior I (right foot forward), clasp your hands behind your back or hold a strap if needed.
Inhale to open the heart, lifting the chest and drawing the shoulders back.
Exhale to hinge at the hips and fold forward, bringing your chest inside or toward your front thigh.
Let your head relax and extend your arms toward the sky (or forward if clasping isn’t available).
Press into your back heel and breathe deeply into your ribs and spine.
Stay for 5 breaths, then rise slowly and switch sides.
Optional Layer: Add gentle movement—rocking slightly with the breath or shifting weight between feet—to reflect Gemini’s airy, mutable essence.
Strength isn’t always loud. Sometimes it bows. Sometimes it breathes. Sometimes it listens.
Seated Neck Stretches
Simple, subtle, and incredibly effective for releasing tension and creating space for clear communication.
Sit comfortably and lengthen your spine.
Drop your right ear toward your right shoulder.
Option to gently press your left fingertips down or out to the side.
Hold for 3–5 breaths, then switch sides.
Lion’s Breath (Simhasana Pranayama)
This energizing breathwork clears stuck energy from the throat and jaw while helping release inhibition.
Sit in a comfortable kneeling or cross-legged position.
Inhale through your nose, then open your mouth wide, stick out your tongue, and exhale with a strong “HA” sound.
Repeat 3–5 times, letting your face relax completely.
Gemini Season Wisdom
Gemini reminds us that life isn’t just meant to be lived—it’s meant to be explored.
Let this season open the windows of your mind.
Speak your truth.
Ask the questions.
Listen deeply.
Laugh often.
You don’t have to know exactly where you’re going. It’s okay to try on different paths. To be more than one thing. To change your mind.
There’s brilliance in your voice and beauty in your questions.
Let yourself be curious. Let yourself be light. Let yourself connect.
